CMC at WIS 2025: A Key Step in the Global Expansion Journey

At the World IT Show scheduled for April 24-26, 2025, in Seoul, CMC Telecom and CMC Global will present their extensive technological environment and digital framework. This exhibition represents a major milestone in their international expansion strategy known as "Go Global."

The 'Go Global' strategy

CMC, being among Vietnam’s premier tech companies, keeps broadening its scope and refining its technical skills to cater to multinational corporations. Their “Go Global” initiative embodies their ambition to fortify their international standing, cultivate top-tier engineers, and adhere strictly to global benchmarks. By the year 2028, CMC targets reaching revenues exceeding billions of dollars and having more than 10,000 employees across the globe.

At present, CMC operates in more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, with significant footholds in places like Japan, Singapore, Germany, Australia, and the United States. The year 2024 marked another major step for the firm when they inaugurated CMC Korea in Seoul, solidifying their position within one of Asia’s leading tech centers.

Vietnam considers South Korea a crucial strategic ally, projecting their mutual trade volume could surge to $150 billion by the year 2030. In this regard, CMC views South Korea as a lucrative opportunity needing a forward-thinking approach and decisive moves to ensure enduring success. Throughout the last twenty years, CMC has established robust collaborations with key South Korean corporations including Samsung SDS, KT, LG, SK Telecom, CJ Olive Networks, Shinhan Bank, GS Retail, LGU+, and Hyundai IT.

During WIS 2025, CMC Telecom and CMC Global will present their slogan “Beyond Digital.” This highlights their dedication to pushing Vietnamese tech solutions across borders, tackling challenging markets, and supporting South Korean as well as global companies through their digital transition processes.

"We aim to work alongside global partners to build a modern, innovative, and pioneering image of Vietnam in the tech industry," Son added.

In pursuit of its "Global Expansion," CMC has recognized eco-friendly digital technologies and the green economy as essential elements for enhancing human well-being. This shift is primarily propelled by five core areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Transformation (DX), Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Managed Services.

To guarantee effective worldwide execution, CMC persistently commits substantial resources to technological advancement and personnel development via know-how sharing and educational initiatives sourced from top tech countries like Japan, South Korea, and the United States.

This approach has helped CMC develop a proficient technology team with internationally recognized credentials like CDCE, CREST, OSCP, CISM, CPSA, CTIA, and ECIH. Such qualifications provide a solid base for CMC to partner with worldwide companies during their digital and sustainable transition efforts.
