Belio Kipsang: Veteran Educator Shifts to New Ministry Role

President William Ruto has transferred Belio Kipsang, who was previously the long-serving Principal Secretary for Basic Education, to another ministry.

On Friday, March 20, in an official announcement, Chief of Staff and head of Public Service Felix Koskei stated that Kipsang has been reassigned from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Interior, where he will serve as the Principal Secretary overseeing the State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services.

Kipsang wasn't the sole official relocated, as Medical ServicesPrincipal Secretary Harry Kimtai was moved to the Ministry of Mining as well.

Principal Secretary Julius Bitok has been moved from the Immigration and Citizen Services department to the State Department responsible for Basic Education.
