Karachi Kings Gear Up for PSL 10 With Fresh Coaching Roster

Karachi, April 7 — Ravi Bopara and Shaun Tait have made their way to Karachi and will be spearheading the Karachi Kings' efforts in the forthcoming HBL Pakistan Super League. With Bopara taking up the role of head coach and Tait serving as an assistant bowling coach, they join preparations ahead of their first game scheduled for April 12 against the Multan Sultans. The team’s training sessions commence today at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Center.

The Karachi Kings are gearing up for an impressive campaign in PSL 10. National stars such as Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, and Arafat Minhas have signed with the team. Together, they plan to clinch wins and boost overall team play. Meanwhile, as the reigning champs Islamabad United go head-to-head against Lahore Qalandars on April 11, the Kings look forward to gaining traction right from their first game.

Bopara is well-acquainted with the Pakistan Super League, where he previously represented the Karachi Kings from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, he briefly played for both the Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi in subsequent seasons. With his wealth of experience, Bopara’s contribution could play a crucial role as the Kings aim to leave their mark this year.

In the 10th iteration of the HBL PSL, which comprises six squads and encompasses 34 games overall, the competition spans from April 11 to May 18. Notably, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be the venue for 13 fixtures, featuring both semi-finals and the concluding match. As anticipation mounts, supporters are looking forward with great enthusiasm to the commencement of the event.
