Susan Nakhumicha Secures Key Role in William Ruto's UN Appointments

Susan Nakhumincha has secured a new position within the government as part of President William Ruto's latest round of appointments.

On March 20, a statement viewed by Sport.bangjo.co.id.co.ke revealed that Ruto implemented modifications within the governmental structure through Executive Order No. 1 of 2025. This order included appointments to and reallocations among State Departments, along with assignments to the country’s diplomatic corps.

What position has Nakhumincha taken?

As stated by the Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei, President Ruto, exercising the authority granted to the Head of State and Government under Article 132(2)(e) of the Constitution, has nominated Nakhumincha along with several others to take up roles as Ambassadors, Consuls-General, and Deputy Heads of Missions at Kenya’s diplomatic posts overseas.

The ex-Health Minister has been chosen to work as the permanent envoy for Kenya at the UN-Habitat headquarters in Nairobi.

Other diplomatic appointments made by President Ruto
