Sports Hub Set for Construction Across Country’s Eight Divisions With UAE Support: Sports Adviser

On April 6, Dhaka reported that the Ministry of Youth and Sports plans to build sports hubs across the nation’s eight divisions, thanks to financial support from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On Sunday, during the distribution of awards for a friendly football competition held for disadvantaged children at the National Stadium in Dhaka, Adviser for Youth and Sports Asif Mahmud Sajid Bhuiyan revealed this information to commemorate both the national and international sports days.

There's no place for gender discrimination in the new Bangladesh, says adviser Asif Mahmud.

He further stated, 'We first addressed the situation with China and ultimately resolved the problem with the UAE. Currently, we are actively working on it and earnestly hoping to commence operations in the upcoming fiscal year.'

"In addition, the NSC owns property in the Gulshan district of the capital city, which has been taken over by vandals. We now possess all necessary documentation to recover this land and construct both a federation office and sporting facilities on the site," he stated.

Previously, the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a vibrant parade in the capital on Sunday morning to celebrate National and InternationalSports Day.
