The six top-performing graduates from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, have received an award of N500,000 each in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.
The convoking speaker and Senior Special Advisor on Industrialization to the president at the African Development Bank, Professor Banji Oyelaran-Oyeyinka, honored the recipients for their outstanding academic achievements.
The recipients comprised; Adeduntan Badirat, who graduated with an impressive CGPA of 4.86 in Science Laboratory Technology and was recognized as the top overall student at the university during the 2023/2024 academic year, along with five engineering graduates.
Here are others: Komolafe Teslim Gbolahan with a CGPA of 4.77 in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, AbdulRasheed Wasiu also achieving a CGPA of 4.72 in Chemical Engineering, and Oladipo Johnson Omoniyi scoring a CGPA of 4.71 in Civil Engineering.
The list also includes Oyelade Oluwaseun Oluwafikunmi from Computer Engineering with a CGPA of 4.67, along with Eniade Miracle Stephen who has a CGPA of 4.62 in Mechanical Engineering.
