KUCCPS Reveals Openings for 26 KMTC Programs: Don't Miss Out!

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reported available positions in at least 26 courses at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

The 26 courses offered consist of a blend of both Diploma and Certificate certifications suitable for anyone who is interested.

The applications for the vacant positions will remain open till April 30, 2025.

"Applicants seeking enrollment in KMTC courses will be pleased to know that, following the recent student placements at KMTC, there are still openings available in 26 programs," the placement service stated on X.

The positions are still unoccupied despite the completion of the latest placements.

Their basic criteria along with the accessible KMTC branches can be found on the KUCCPS Student’s Portal (http://students.kuccps.net).

The available courses comprised a Certificate in Community Health Assistance, Healthcare Records and Information Technology, Medical Emergency Technicianship, Medical Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics, Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, and Public Health.

The diploma programs encompass areas such as Community Health, Emergency Medical Technology, Health Counseling, Health Insurance Management, Health Promotion, Health Records and Information Technology, Medical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Social Work, Mortuary Science, and Nutrition and Dietetics.

The other diploma programs encompass fields such as Occupational Therapy, Orthopaedic Technology, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Public Health, Radiography and Imaging, along with Speech and Language Therapy.

In January, KUCCPS revealed that individuals who completed Form Four and took the KCSE exam from 2000 through 2024 are eligible to apply for placements at KMTC and TVET institutions.

Students were encouraged to apply for TVETs and KMTC campuses close to where they live, making it more cost-effective to operate from home.

"Applicants for degrees and TTC programs are advised to remain patient, as the dates for their submissions will be communicated subsequently," stated KUCCPS.

KUCCPS applications can only be submitted via their website.
