
Fernando Alonso Has likened Suzuka to Monaco when discussing how both tracks host Formula 1 races where success often comes down to performance during Saturday’s qualifying session.

This has emerged as a concern at Suzuka recently, much like how Monaco has come to be recognized as a race where a driver’s grid position significantly dictates their chances of winning.
The F1 series is optimistic that the problem encountered in Monte Carlo has been resolved. It mandated two required pit stops for the 2025 Grand Prix. .
However, Alonso, who came in 11th place for Aston Martin on Sunday, worries that Suzuka might follow the same path as the race in Monaco.
"This is Suzuka; I can't recall a race where we witnessed numerous overtakes here without the weather playing a role," stated the double F1 world champion.

It appears we consistently focus on Thursdays, marveling at how fantastic Suzuka is, how amazing Monaco is, with all their glitz and glamour making for a spectacular weekend.
And then on Sunday morning, we find ourselves saying, 'Monaco feels dull. How can we change the circuit?' 'Suzuka seems uninteresting.' That’s part of Formula 1; however, Suzuka stands out initially as fantastic, particularly since Saturday brings an immensely thrilling rush.
Speaking after the race, Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur stated that this season might turn into a "championship of qualifying." If the tendency of finding difficulty in surpassing observed in both China and Japan persists.
