In the recent Reader's Choice Awards conducted by travel magazine DestinAsian, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kuala Lumpur were named as the top four Southeast Asian cities among the ten best urban centers in Asia.

The vibrant metropolis of Bangkok, serving as the heart of Thailand, took the first position.

"Bangkok is a bustling metropolis home to 11 million inhabitants, where ancient temples coexist with modern glass towers. As vessels navigate the winding Chao Phraya River, the BTS Skytrain traverses congested streets filled with vehicles. In this city, both street cuisine and gourmet meals hold equal importance," the publication pointed out.

The city is equally renowned for its magnificent Buddhist pagodas, attracting visitors who frequently wear traditional Thai attire for photoshoots.

Singapore , known for its low crime rates and stringent regulations, came in at number two, with Tokyo following closely behind.

Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, featuring a mix of French colonial structures, contemporary skyscrapers, and vibrant energy. nightlife secured the fourth position, whereas Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur completed the top five.

The last five positions were claimed by Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney, Shanghai, and Taipei.

These accolades honor the best locations, accommodations, air carriers, and travel services throughout Asia, as determined by votes from countless global travelers. The list emphasizes excellence in service quality, journey experiences, and customer contentment.
