Captain Rodah Mukami states that the course is in excellent condition.

Mercy Nyanchama from Njoro Golf Club, who has won Golfer of the Year title for three consecutive years, has confirmed her participation and expressed her desire to maintain this prestigious standing.

Nyanchama and Esther Chumo, who was formerly the Lady Captain at Eldoret Golf Club, are currently leading with 20 points each. In third place is Margaret Njoki from Golf Park Golf Club, accumulating 18 points so far.
Chumo and Njoki are closely trailing Nyanchama as they get ready for an intense showdown at this esteemed KLGU Open Meeting, eagerly anticipating the chance to grab additional GOTY points.
In addition to formidable local opponents, including the reigning champion Joyce Wanjiru from Kiambu Golf Club, the female golfers will face tough competition as well from top-notch amateur players hailing from Tanzania and Uganda when they tee off again at the course.
